The more workers that are in unions, the better contracts we can achieve. Everyone knows someone who is struggling with poor wages and benefits in a non-union workplace. Simply let them know that you can have someone from your union contact them to talk about their situation. That is all you have to do.
Rewards
If we meet with that person and get their workplace successfully organized, you receive a reward from the ICWUC. If their workplace has 49 members or fewer, we send you a check for $500.00. If their workplace has 50–99 workers, we send a check for $750.00. In addition, if the workplace has 100 or more, you receive a check for $1000.00.
Referrals
All you have to do is tell the organizing team that you have someone we can talk to about the union. Families and your retirees are eligible for this reward, as well.
