Happy Labor Day and Thank You for All You Do!

Dear ICWUC Staff, Local Union Officers, Stewards, and Members,

As we celebrate Labor Day, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for everything you do throughout the year on behalf of our members and their families.

Labor Day is much more than a long weekend. It is a time to recognize the generations of workers who fought for the rights, protections, wages, and benefits that so many of us enjoy today. It is also a reminder that the labor movement remains strong because of the dedication and commitment of people like you.

Whether you are representing members in the workplace, negotiating contracts, organizing new workers, handling grievances, educating members, supporting our local unions, or working behind the scenes to keep our organization moving forward, your efforts make a difference every single day. Your hard work helps ensure that working people have a voice and that our union remains a powerful force for dignity, fairness, and justice on the job.

I know that many of you make sacrifices in service to our members. You often spend long hours away from your families, respond to issues at all hours of the day, and consistently put the needs of our members first. Those efforts do not go unnoticed, and I want you to know how much they are appreciated.

On behalf of the International Executive Board and the ICWUC, thank you for your dedication, your professionalism, and your unwavering commitment to the labor movement. Because of your efforts, we continue to grow stronger, advocate effectively, and improve the lives of working families across North America.

As we enjoy this Labor Day weekend, let us also remember the strength that comes from solidarity. When we stand together, support one another, and work toward common goals, there is no challenge we cannot overcome.
