Accident Claims the life of ICWUC Local 784C member Johnny Lee Daniels

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our beloved union brother, Johnny Lee Daniels. A resident of Live Oak, Florida, Johnny’s life was tragically cut short on March 1, 2024, due to an unfortunate accident at the Swift Creek Mine in White Springs, Florida. Johnny was a cherished 18-year member of the International Chemical Workers Union Council (ICWUC) local 784C. Johnny loved his job and the guys he worked with.

As we mourn the passing of our dear friend and union brother, let us hold Shanika Daniels, and the rest of Johnny’s family and friends, in our thoughts and prayers. May they find solace in the cherished memories of Johnny.

In honoring Johnny Lee Daniels, let us also reaffirm our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all workers. Let his memory serve as a reminder of the importance of upholding rigorous safety standards in our workplaces, ensuring that tragedies like this are prevented in the future.

Though Johnny may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy will continue to inspire us as we strive for a better, safer tomorrow for all workers.

Rest in peace, Johnny Lee Daniels. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
