ICWUC Local 1033C Stands United After INOES Fails to Bargain in Good Faith
In Ashtabula Ohio Members of International Chemical workers union council (ICWUC) Local 1033C and Teamsters Local 377 are standing united on the strike line after INOES failed to bargain in good faith, leaving workers with no choice but to take collective action.
For months, Local 1033C and Teamsters local 377 have approached negotiations professionally and in good faith, seeking a fair contract that respects the work, safety, and dignity of its members. INOES, however, refused to engage meaningfully at the bargaining table stalling progress and disregarding reasonable proposals put forward by our unions.
This Unfair Labor strike did not happen because our members wanted it, it happened because INOES left us no alternative,” said ICWUC Local 1033C leadership. “Our members are standing shoulder to shoulder to demand fairness, respect, and a contract that reflects the value we bring to the job every day.
Despite the hardship that comes with striking, Local 1033C and Teamsters local 377 remains solid and unwavering. Members continue to show up united, disciplined, and determined, demonstrating the strength of worker solidarity and the commitment to protecting their rights.
ICWUC Local 1033C calls on INOES to return to the bargaining table and negotiate in good faith. Until that happens, our members will remain on the strike line standing together, standing strong, and refusing to be ignored.
Solidarity is our strength. Local 1033C will not back down.
